Maryland National Capital Park & Planning Commission’s (M-NCPPC) wide variety of arts programs and services let residents explore visual art, music, dance, theater and literary arts as enthusiastic spectators or eager students; and artists are encouraged to share their work with the community in many ways.
The Arts and Cultural Heritage Division of M-NCPPC manages this Registry of Prince George's County visual and performing artists including painters, sculptors, mixed media artists, musicians, actors, theatre professionals and dancers for a county registry of all the working artists in the local DC Metro area.
Community Arts Services uses this Registry to provide professional, affordable arts activities and services to Prince George’s County residents, artists and arts organizations, and also to implement new exhibitions, performances and festivals featuring Registry artists.
The Registry is a free resource for artists, curators, and agencies commissioning art works. Registry artists also receive M-NCPPC’s weekly "This Week in the Arts" newsletter.
