Welcome to the application form for the Youth Exchange

'Queer Cinema as Resistance'! ❤️‍🔥

17 - 23 May 2025 (including travel days)

Hitzacker, Lower Saxony Germany

We have to reclaim queer storytelling in art as a tool of empowerment and resistance, and use it to resist and mobilize against everything that’s happening to queer people everywhere.

If you are eager to:

Learn about the history and exploitation of queer cinema, and its connection to resistance movements.
Learn about queer storytelling, independent queer films, and their role in shaping queer identities today
Acquire practical skills in creating our own queer film projects from start to finish.
Build a strong international queer community for mutual support and collective action.
Develop strategies on how we can balance out activism and filmmaking with self and community care, care for ourselves and each other.
