ROLES FOR THIS FORM
Media Rep- this person would be the contact person for the media for the group. They would approach me with potential stories/ appearance opportunities, and I would approach them with state specific media requests. They can help find members to participate in stories. They can help seek out people willing to run stories and build relationships with them. They will also help to build the list of media contacts for their state via a form that would be provided to them.

Group Liaison/ Social Media Team- This person can work with the state groups for other organizations like Dysautonomia International and MEActions state groups, etc. The ability to form relationships and work with other LH groups would also be beneficial. You would be responsible for shareing posts to our main group, state groups and other Long COVID groups on FB and also over on twitter and possibly tiktok and IG. It would be helpful to have 1-2 people minimum per state for this. We will need to create a Twitter for every state group as well which will be addressed in a meeting TBD.

Care Liaison- This is the person contacting hospital systems and universities trying to make connections and start talks about CPCCC’s and the needs of LH’s and how they can help. I will provide this team a document that shows what a Comprehensive Post Covid Care Center looks like and our asks in creating one.

Fundraising/ Charity Lead- help us create a charity and find funding and donors for it/ projects. Additionally, helping sort applications once active, monitoring funds in and out, and potentially sitting on its board.

Designer/ Developer- ads, posters, billboards, psa’s , videos, website, creating an IG and TT, creating a state email address, writing/ editing etc

Research- this person would be responsible for posting all local research opportunities for Long Haulers to participate in, vetting them (we get A LOT of bizarre requests), and helping push for research with the care liaison, posting accurate research articles/ findings to the groups, etc

Long COVID Children rep- This person will help spread the stories of our youngest Longhaulers. there is a huge misconception that children are not affected by Covid-19 and we need to combat that. They will also be responsible for monitoring state decisions and actions regarding schools and get involved in school discussions regarding Long COVID Children with school districts and their boards and teachers. We want to also educate schools and educators about the symptoms and prolonged issues children may be having in school due to Long COVID and fight for accommodations for them and raise awareness.

Celebrity/ Congress Outreach- this person would be in charge of trying to locate and speak with celebrities or their reps to use their voice and following to raise more awareness about Long COVID. these people will also be following up with letters or any other means to our local and state reps on communications, projects and initiatives start.

FB State Group Moderator- You would be responsible for monitoring group content, helping keep out false information, helping keep the piece, sharing information, and approving member requests which you will sometimes need to vet. You may also be asked to upload documents to our files section and share posts. Would also prefer 1-2 at minimum for now. State and Regional leads will also be added as group moderators. We will all also have a meeting about this for more info TBD

Community resource team- this person could be in charge of things like vaccination efforts/ locations, mask mandates, public place capacity, food drives/ giveaways, community support programs, financial help programs, helping to build our Covid-Competent Providers list so people have better local access to quality medical care based off of other Lh feedback, etc

Other: Please enter a suggestion. Some examples have been: Help finding insurance, Mental Health and Meditation sessions, being a medical provider willing to be a voice to their colleagues, etc.
