Our editors—Amber and Sherronda—will hold a Live Q&A on our instagram (@blackyouthproject) for young Black folks who have questions about getting their work published with us or about BYP in general, questions about Amber and Sherronda's editing philosophies/processes or anything you're interested in learning about them/their work.
We know with Rona ravaging Black folks and our people justly rioting around the world, young Black folks have thoughts and passions that need to be heard, read, and most importantly, felt.


It is of the utmost importance that young Black folks voices aren't getting left out. None of us are in this alone and we can continue to learn and grow as a community. We are hoping these tips and more, will provide a resource for Black youth to get their voices heard and to be compensated for their labor as well.
