Awards and Conditions
If awarded this scholarship, a certificate of award will be given in January and upon acceptable completion of earning a high school diploma, the actual check will be given at the time of registration into college. The applicant must provide proof of registration and enrollment into college. Upon proof, the committee will issue out the check to the recipient. If the applicant no longer meets the criteria stated in this document for being awarded this scholarship, then the award will be revoked and given to the next approved applicant reviewed by the House of David scholarship committee.

Letter of Intent
Letter of Intent. Letter of IntentThe purpose of the letter of intent is to inform the scholarship committee about who you are and why you deserve to be awarded this scholarship. The letter can include your strengths, skills, interests and hobbies. Be as specific as possible. Avoid general words such as "successful" and "happy." Instead, describe what those words mean to you and your life experiences. It is important to clearly communicate in your letter why you are interested in studying in college if awarded the scholarship and why receiving this scholarship is important to your college experience. State your career goals and show the reader how attending the college will help you reach those goals. Thank you.
