Insurance - All skaters are required to purchase Women's Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA) insurance at the rate of $75/year.
League Dues - Grand Raggidy gives discounts to new players! BT is free for the first month. After the first month, dues are discounted to $20/ skater for 3 months. After that, league dues are $40/ month per skater ($50 if you pay after the 10th of the month). GRRD membership comes with a lot of great perks: free yoga, chiropractic services, gym membership, discounted custom mouth guards, and more. Referees, NSOs, and volunteers do no pay League Dues.
If you already have roller derby gear (helmet, quad skates, mouth guard, knee pads, wrist pads, elbow pads), feel free to bring it. Our coaches can answer any questions you might have and/or check the fit. If you don't have roller derby gear, no worries. We will show you what you'll need and where to purchase it. Grand Raggidy has some loaner gear, but we don't guarantee proper sizing or that we will have enough gear for everyone. You will be required to purchase your own gear by the end of the first month.
