Tool Library & Makerspace
Currently the journey to make this happen is a solo adventure at the moment, but with a few more dedicated people we can start to build the momentum. Contact me at niagaratoollibrary@gmail.com if you're ready to contribute!

A Tool Library will essentially work like a regular library, but instead of books, users pay for a low cost yearly membership that gives them access to a variety of high quality items they may use a few times but do not want to own. The Makerspace part of the plan is to have a woodworking shop, 3D printer and other tools for do-it-yourselfers and would have a monthly membership if we find the right space. Items for the Tool Library available to borrow would include things such as gardening equipment, woodworking, home and outdoor repair, culinary equipment and DIY tools, etc. This sharing centre will be for people who to not only share their items but for people who would like to host workshops to help others learn new skills.
