My experiences of witnessing racism and/or experiencing "white privilege"
Thank you for taking the time to share your story for the White Allies initiative.

Our invitation is for you to reflect and really connect with your experiences. We believe that without individual white people making this connection, efforts to tackle racism can be woolly, automated and meaningless. We hope that by doing this work, you will appreciate and acknowledge the unfairness of racism and the advantages of inherent privilege and help others do the same.

About this Google Form:

- By sending the story you'll be giving us permission to publish it anonymously on the White Allies site and other media.

- We are interested in hearing white people share their experiences of living with white privilege and/or witnessing racism.

- This form is totally anonymous and we encourage you to answer as honestly as possible. There are no right or wrong answers. We are solely interested in hearing about your experiences.

- Some questions are compulsory but the sections asking you to share your personal experiences are optional as we recognise some may strike more of a chord with you than others.

- We encourage you not to think of your 'white privilege' as an insult, or as diminishing the very real barriers you may have faced in life because of your gender/sexuality/class/disability etc. The term 'white privilege' ONLY reflects your racial privilege as a white person in the UK, and does not assume that you are 'privileged' in any other sense of the word.

- All relevant experiences are important and will help others recognise racism and hopefully make a commitment to become anti-racist.
