● Year 1-2 ANZ Future Ferns starts in Term 4 on Wednesday afternoons. Season starts: 10th October at the Waiwhakaiho Netball Courts and runs for 9 sessions.

● These 1 hr sessions will be skills and drills based ending the session with a modified game with teams of 6 (4 on court plus 2 subs) which is played on a 1/3 of a court focusing on the skills learnt in that session.

● No coaching sessions outside of this is required

● Each team MUST have a star helper who will manage the team on the day, help with teaching the team, drills and skills and assist with the game at the end of the skills and drills sessions.

● Star Helpers and team managers who haven’t done a Star Helper course must attend the compulsory Star Helper course date TBC at Waiwhakaiho Courts, Pavillion. I cannot register a team without a Star Helper who has completed the course.

UNIFORMS: Players will be supplied with a school sports T-shirt. School shirts need to be returned within a week of last game, clean and in good condition. A fee of $20 will be charged for a non returned or damaged shirt.

Netball Taranaki has stated they a providing a $0 fee this year for Yr 1-2 future Ferns, however we as a school are still charging a $10 fee per player to cover costs of admin and equipment etc.

Registration closes Friday 22nd August 2025.

We would like payments or a secured payment plan to be made by the 20th September 2025. If failure to do so your child will unfortunately not be placed in a team.
