Hi there, welcome to HOMESCHOOLING IN REST! Know that you are not alone. I'm here to help you where I can and show how to homeschool in rest so that you can jump over the hurdles that come our way as homeschool parents but still have joy and peace in the home.

My name is Angela Collins and live with my husband and two boys in Aurora, Durbanville, Cape Town. I've been involved in education for almost 15 years. For many years I taught in individualized education. During that time,  I taught ages 5 - 18 year olds and a wide range of subjects. I homeschool my two boys, so I know what it's like to start, handle the many hurdles that home schooling brings but also know the real rewards & blessings it is to be able to homeschool your own children.

I provide a service to new homeschool parents,  those thinking of starting or to those who may have got "stuck" and just need some help to get going again. This is for the foundation phase schooling years, for young children (10 years & younger).  I provide a guideline on how to navigate the schooling years, discuss what is important to you and help you formulate a roadmap for going forward. I also offer advice on the "how to" of teaching and homeschool life.

I'm happy to share my knowledge & experience and most importantly encourage you on your own journey of homeschooling. Each family is different, each child is different and every situation is different. There are, however, some principles and helpful strategies one can apply that should make the journey that much easier and more enjoyable for everyone.

Sessions:
Sessions are online via WhatsApp video/voice call. Each session is 1 hour @ R450 or you can also request a written consultation. Once you have received confirmation for your time slot, payment is required within 48 hours to reserve that time for you. This is non-refundable but it something urgent comes up and we have to postpone, then we can reschedule your session.
