Fees - My counseling fees per hour are $200 (Individual Counseling), $225 (Marriage), and $250 (Family). Although the counseling rates for “new” clients may increase over time, your rate will typically stay the same while you are an “active” client. If, however, you stop scheduling sessions for three months, you will not be considered a current/“active” client and if you start counseling again in the future, any new rate will then apply.

I do have a “sliding fee scale” if you are financially in need. If you earn less than $100,000 gross family income annually, you may pay the next lower tier amount; if you earn less than $75,000 gross family income annually, you may pay the next lower tier amount. Those hourly rate “tiers” are: $250, $225, $200, $180, $160.

Thus, if you’re seeking Individual Counseling (normally $200) but make less than $100,000 gross family income annually, you can pay $180; if you make less than $75,000, you can pay $160.

If you are seeking Marriage Counseling (normally $225) but make less than $100,000 gross family income annually, you can pay $200; if you make less than $75,000, you can pay $180.

Premarital Counseling is already at a reduced rate of $125/hour so there is no additional sliding fee scale for that service.

Good Faith Estimate - How often we meet will be up to you as you schedule your appointments. Most clients choose to meet weekly at first and then scale it back to twice/month and then once/month but each client’s situation is different. As such, your Good Faith Estimate is how frequently you wish to meet x your hourly rate.
