Thank you for your interest in Wood Street Infant School & Nursery. We are delighted to be opening our nursery in September 2026. This will be a day nursery for 26 children aged 3-4 and four children aged 2.
This will be a teacher led day nursery for 26 children aged 3-4 and four children aged 2. Our nursery will be open 38 weeks per year (term time) with core opening hours of 9am-3pm, plus an option for an additional session of 8.30am-9am.
We accept 30 hour working parent scheme funding and 15 hour universal funding. For hours not covered by either funding, the charge is £8.25 per hour. If you choose for your child to attend a full day they are able to have a healthy well balanced school dinner at an additional cost.
