Arrival Assistant Application

Due to Student Affairs no later than Thursday April 17th, 2014. Please be sure to read through the details of the position carefully.


    1. Candidates must be full-time Saint Rose students. 2. Candidates should have displayed active involvement in campus activities. These activities could include: participation in clubs, organizations, volunteer positions, or any involvement at Saint Rose. Involvement in the community is also an acceptable leadership experience. 3. Interest in helping new Saint Rose students. 4. Good conduct standing.

    Important Dates:

    Applications due April 17th Notification week of April 21st Mandatory Training meeting Friday, August 22nd 2:00-4:30 PM in Saint Joseph's Auditorium Move-in Staff Dinner Friday, August 22nd 5:00 PM in Main Dining Room


    The Arrival Assistants are supervised by the Opening Week Team , Director of Student Life, and Assistant Vice President for Student Affairs. They also work closely with the Student Affairs Office staff.


    1. Enthusiastically welcome new students to the College. 2. Arrival Assistant will be expected to report for work the day prior to new student move-in. 3. Attend arrival assistant training meeting. 4. Arrival Assistants will move new student belongings into the residence halls.


    1. Resident Students receive free room and board for the day prior to new student move-in through the beginning of the Fall meal plan. 2. Have the privilege of moving in early. 4. Free Opening Week shirt and other keepsake. 5. An opportunity to become part of one of the largest campus activities which ALWAYS sets the trend for enthusiasm and involvement throughout the entire academic year. 6. Satisfaction in helping new Saint Rose students.
