Eligibility: Applicants must be enrolled in a doctoral degree program within the College of Arts & Sciences and must be formally advanced to candidacy by July 31, 2014. Preference will be given to projects that enrich knowledge about Latino populations residing in the United States, however projects involving transnational (US-Latin American) populations or comparative frameworks are also acceptable. During the fellowship year, the student is expected to devote full time to dissertation work and to participate in the Latino Studies Program’s scholarly activities in Bloomington.
