August 2018 | Registration for Monkey Guards Training
The objective of this training session is to equip volunteers with the skills to guide macaques away from residential areas. The aim is not to eliminate sightings of macaques, but to create a safe and respectful barrier between people and macaques, and hence minimise negative encounters.

Training will cover the basics of monkey guarding, as well as how to understand macaque body language and facial expressions. It involves both a theory and practical component.

Kindly note that all volunteers have to be 18 years and above, and are required to attend one training session in order to participate in Monkey Guarding activities.

Excluding the training session, Monkey Guards will subsequently be reimbursed for each shift they go for.

The details of the training session are:
Date: Saturday, 11 Aug 2018
Time: 10:00AM - 12:00PM
Venue: Dairy Farm Estate, 3 Dairy Farm Road, Singapore 679035
