We look forward to an exciting year for our Orchard Park Students and Families.  The time, talent, and enthusiasm of parent and family volunteers are the heart of the Orchard Park Elementary PTO

By having a child enrolled at Orchard Park (OPE), you are a member of our Parent Teacher Organization (PTO).  We have no membership fees and never charge our families to attend our events or benefit from programs.

By completing this form, you will provide contact information and volunteer interests with OPE.

Whether you can help with projects at home or at school, can give a couple hours or many, we appreciate your help!

Do you have a background check on file with Carmel Clay Schools? *
All volunteers who work directly with children are required to have a criminal background check on file as a CCS District Policy.  Background checks are $32 and are good for 5 years.  Please contact the school office at 848-1918 or hmullins@ccs.k12.in.us  to request one.  PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE ARE STILL MANY WAYS TO VOLUNTEER WITHOUT A BACKGROUND CHECK.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
Checks indicate interest only.  By checking boxes you are not committing to an event, but you will be contacted by that Committee prior to the event to determine if you are still interested in helping.
General Help
Please contact me whenever a project comes up and you need an extra hand!
International Festival
Held in November, this family event showcases OPE families from various world cultures.  Guests participate in games, arts, crafts, and recreation.  Dinner is available for purchase from local Food Trucks.
Green Cubs
An after school student club facilitated by PTO Volunteers and a staff member to educate and promote "Green" initiatives within OPE.
Fifth Grade Recognition
In celebration of their time at OPE, fifth grade students participate in a ceremony and enjoy a class party.  
Hospitality
This group of volunteers helps in a variety of ways from bringing baked goods in for teachers to decorating the school for special events.  
Valentine Parties
This school wide celebration is done on a classroom level.  Volunteers are needed to facilitate pre-planned games and activities for individual classes.  Please list a teacher's name if you would like to be with your child.  Put "no preference" if you can help in general.
Taste of Carmel
Our primary fundraiser is also the biggest event of the year!  Held on March 13, this adult only event features local restaurants, live music, a silent auction, and all around fun!  We need many, many volunteers to help plan everything from invitations to gathering silent auction items.  Planning starts in October and becomes more intense in January with weekly meetings, but we have many options for people to be involved!
