Thank you for requesting a speaker from Survivor Network NC Speaker’s Bureau (SNSB). The purpose of SNSB is to train survivors of sex and labor trafficking to use their lived expertise to educate and inform the community, law makers, and service providers locally and nationally on human trafficking. 

Completing the request form does not guarantee that your request will be met. In order to increase the likelihood your request is met, it should be submitted at a minimum of 30 days prior to the event. Once an application is submitted, please give us at least 48 business hours to acknowledge your application.

Payments, Stipends, Fees, and Honoraria

The Survivors Network Speakers Bureau strongly advocates on behalf of Survivors for non-exploitative speaking opportunities that include equitable compensation for their time and expertise. Before submitting your request, please consider whether your organization can pay a speaking fee and/or reimbursement for speakers' time and expenses incurred by the speaker. *Please see disclaimer on bottom 

Admin fee: 

Each agency requesting and booking speakers will incur a 10% service fee. This fee will be used to arrange and coordinate logistics between said agency and Survivor Leader speaker.

Survivor Consulting Fee Schedule:

The invoice will include billable time for preparation, planning meetings and actual travel time at the listed hourly rate. 

Once an application is accepted, a call will be scheduled to discuss details and specific requests. During that time a final invoice will be curated using the following rates: 

  • Speaking engagements with service providers (victim, healthcare, housing, transportation) $75 per hour 
  • Speaking engagements or workshops with governmental agencies $75 per hour 
  • Speaking engagements or workshops with lawmakers and government $75 per hour 
  • Speaking engagements or workshops with community groups (school, church, advocacy) $75 per hour 
  • Speaking engagements or workshops with criminal justice entities (L.E, prosecutors, judges) $75 per hour 
  • Technical assistance informing procedures, policies and programs addressing Human Trafficking $80 per hour 
  • Speaking engagement at fundraiser $300 flat rate 
  • Multi-day and other events types TBD based on event details
