Workforce Connect  Recovery Friendly Workplace Survey for Employers

Research shows that workplaces that support recovery have very good outcomes. Employees stay with the company longer, get more work done, miss fewer days of work, and lead more meaningful lives.  This Recovery Friendly Workplace Survey for Employers is a tool that helps us understand how your organization (the employer) handles substance use and mental health concerns. When you take part in the survey, you're helping make things better at your organization and helping us make Georgia's workplaces more recovery friendly.

Your answers will help us figure out how to train and help organizations create recovery-friendly workplaces. The hope is that with increased understanding, organizations will be more likely to take the journey to support employees in recovery and consider qualified individuals in recovery when job openings are available.  There is a glossary below that explains some of the terms used in the survey.

If you cannot complete the entire survey at once, you may come back to it later. Your previous responses will be saved automatically and you will be able to continue where you left off. At any point during the survey, you can clear the entire survey and start over by clicking the "Clear Survey" button. When you have finished the survey, please click the "Submit" button near the bottom of the screen. You should receive an email right after a successful submission from Google Forms that starts "Thanks for filling out the Workforce Connect  Recovery Friendly Workplace Survey for Employers "

If you wish to compare your organization with other organizations that have also submitted the survey, a  summary of survey results will be shared with you by indicating "Yes" to this question at the end of the survey.

The survey covers four areas:

  • Workplace Culture
  • Training and Education
  • Challenges to Change
  • Information About Your Workplace
