How would you define a successful retreat for yourself?

Our vision for the retreat involves a mixture of solo time for writing and a few group activities (workshops, meals, an 'author salon' to read our work, an excursion to town). That said, we are all adults and we expect participants to opt in or out of activities based on their interest, goals, and energy levels. How would you describe your overall engagement with this vision? *
How would you feel most supported during the retreat?

Have you ever been to a writing retreat before? If so, what worked for you and what did you find tricky?

Would you like to add on any extra nights before or after the retreat start/end dates? Extra nights are $199 per night. Meals are not provided but you are free to use the kitchen and there are several restaurants nearby.   *
