Climate Storytelling Submissions
When it comes to climate change, we read about melting glaciers, supercharged hurricanes, and bleached reefs. While events like these are devastating, they usually take place far from our Greater Cincinnati region.

But climate change impacts everyone, even in the Midwest. Landslides, extreme heat waves, flooding, smoke from wildfires in the air, even surges in tick & mosquito populations - all of these are caused or made worse by climate change. Climate anxiety and grief are also common impacts on mental health, which can make climate action harder.

Climate change is here and it's going to get worse, even if it doesn't look like what we see in the news. We want to hear what your experiences with climate change and extreme weather are like here in the Greater Cincinnati region.

Stories give a face to the facts of climate change. To represent our experiences in Greater Cincinnati - and share in the collective experience of living through climate change - we're building the first Greater Cincinnati Climate Storybank.

These stories will be shared publicly on our website and may be used as testimonials in reporting. You can share as little or as much as you like; stories may be edited to fit the format of the Storybank. You can have your story removed or hidden from the Storybank by emailing us at communications@greenumbrella.org.

Thank you for sharing your experiences with us!
