Monthly BIPOC Grief Circle (Online)
A space for BIPOC folks to talk, process, reflect, grieve, and support one another after experiencing a death loss. There is no cost to the group but we encourage you to spread the word and invite other BIPOC grievers to join. Registration required. 

Date: The 2nd Wednesday of the month starting July 2025
Time: 7pm-8pm
Location: Online. The Google Meet link will be emailed to you after completing the form.

Every meeting we will go over the Grief Circle Guidelines, practice a grounding exercise, then open up for sharing. This meeting will not be recorded and verbal participation is voluntary.

Grief Circle Guidelines 

Confidentiality 

   ●  What’s shared in the group stays in the group.

   ●  Do not share other participants’ stories or names outside of our circle. 


Respectful Sharing 

   ●  Speak from the “I” (your own experience). 

   ●  Listen without interrupting. 

   ●  Let everyone have space to speak; avoid dominating the conversation. 

     Avoid fixing or giving advice.


Cultural and Identity Safety 

   ●  This space honours cultural values and intersectional identities. 

   ●  Discrimination, shaming, or dismissive language will not be tolerated. 

   ●  We celebrate all forms of expression, emotion, and lived experience. 


Consent + Choice 

   ●  Participation is encouraged but always voluntary. 

   ●  You may pass or choose not to share in any activity or discussion. 

   ●  You are welcome to take breaks as needed. 


Emotional and Physical Safety

   ●  Some topics may be triggering. Share at your own pace. 

   ●  You’re not alone — support is available from facilitators at any time. 

    ●  Practice self-care during and between sessions.
