The AGE Theatre Collective Mentor Application
The AGE Theatre Collective seeks mentors for the 2019 Fall mentorship program.

We are recruiting artists who identify as women and non-binary people of color (POC) who work professionally in Portland theatre to mentor one emerging artist in their same theatrical discipline.

About the program:

For the second session of this mentorship program, The AGE Theatre Collective will provide a packet to mentors outlining a suggested structure of their four month long mentorship. From this structure, mentors will work with mentees to make the mentorship into something that serves the growth of both individual artists. Applications will be accepted now through August 31st, and you will be notified by September 10th if you have been accepted for this season of mentorship. *We hope to match all mentors and mentees who apply but in the event there is not a suitable pairing for this season, we will reach out to suggest you re-apply in future seasons.*

Duration: September 15, 2019 - December 15, 2019

Compensation: $250 stipend

Applications window: August 1st - August 31, 2019

Expectations:

Attendance at 2-4 of The AGE Theatre Collective’s “Monthly Mondays” events
A total of 14 hours of additional work over the course of the program distributed as follows:
- Two hours per month spent meeting with mentee (phone or in person)
- Six additional hours spent on admin work: emails, editing, workshop planning ect.

About the AGE Theatre Collective:

The AGE Theatre Collective, based in Portland, amplifies the resiliency of artists who identify as women and non-binary people of color (POC) who are active and supportive in theatre and performance. The Collective supports the artistic empowerment and professional development of our diverse communities. We do so through gatherings, workshops, info sessions, and an inter-generational mentorship program.
