The March for Science-Philadelphia is committed to highlighting, standing in solidarity with, and acting as allies for marginalized communities in science. We are hoping to have a strong group of Black, Hispanic, and Latinx folks, Native Americans, LGBTQ folks, and disabled people -- both scientists and lovers of science alike -- in the Philadelphia area at the March. If you are a member of these communities, participate in an organization that is working to bring diversity and inclusion into STEM fields, or just generally support inclusion of marginalized groups in science, we’d love to have you help us volunteer at the March and help spread the word!
Anyone who values empirical science can participate but if you have any of the specific skills below, we'd love to have you join us!:
-Good written and oral communication skills -Planning/time management skills -Outreach -Social Media savvy -Graphic design experience
