Join via Zoom videoconference; make calls through your computer (your phone number isn't displayed to voters). Times of Soup Up the Vote's phone banks are to be confirmed, but there will be many different days and times available.

It's most effective if voters receive both a phone call and a hand-written postcard. In addition to making phone calls, please join us in writing postcards. We can hand-write about 10 postcards per hour. We'll provide names, addresses, and the script within 24 hours. You are responsible for providing the postage (44¢ per card); you can provide the cards also, or buy them from us. Must be mailed by Friday, Nov. 25.

If you would like, we can provide Soup Up the Vote postcards (blank on one side) to pick up near Shattuck and Alcatraz in North Oakland. Our partner organization Commit to Democracy also provides its own postcards at other pickup locations.

Help us cover Soup Up the Vote's Costs

We held a series of postcard-writing parties, for which we provided the cards and postage; and a canvassing weekend, for which we covered gasoline. While generous folks have donated to help cover the costs, we are still short by more than $90. Donations will help us retire that debt; any extra we receive will subsidize ongoing organizing costs.
