ACS Alumni Advisory Board Application

Asheville City Schools Foundation (www.acsf.org)  provides the leadership and funding for the ACS Alumni Association and our beautiful on-campus Alumni Center. We also provide logistical support for class reunions including campus tours and visits to the Alumni Center. We are seeking 10-12 local alumni to serve on the ACS Alumni Advisory Board. The purpose of this board is to collectively:

  • Connect our Alumni with each other by establishing an Alumni Association with quarterly newsletters and gatherings.
  • Connect our Alumni with current students and staff so that they can share their rich life experiences (time, talent, treasure) with future alumni.
  • Connect our Alumni to the campus by creating and maintaining a physical center that serves as a future center for current students, a gathering space for alumni reunions and gatherings and a historical museum for our entire community.  
The board will meet 4 x a year, in-person or virtually if necessary. We are asking for at least a 2 year commitment from each member
