The 2024 ChariTree Foundation Camp Tree Planting & Biodiversity Education Grant is now open to Canadian Camping Association (CCA) camps. Apply below for this $1,00 grant to:

purchase fruit trees and / or native trees and seedlings for your campers to plant with camp staff as part of an environmental education program (from your local tree farms and nurseries) See FAQs for more information about finding trees to plant.
bring in environmental education experts like teachers, biologists, arborists… to help kids plant and learn about trees and biodiversity
host a children’s tree planting party for campers

*Apply between April 20 - June 10, 2024. Grants will be provided to CCA camps until the grant fund runs out so apply early. Successful applications will be announced by email and delivered by June 12, 2024.

All $1,000 camp grant recipients will be announced and funds delivered by June 12, 2024.

Once funding has been received will you email The ChariTree foundation at info@charitree-foundation.org with:

1.) at least 2 usable photos of campers planting a tree, holding a tree, or standing beside planted trees.

2.) a comment about the program (For example: “Thank you ChariTree Foundation for this powerful environmental education initiative. Wonderful idea, and a hit with our campers.”

*we will post these on our website and social media pages to help raise more funds so we can give even more kids fun tree planting and outdoor education opportunities.
