COACH/RENTER ACKNOWLEDGMENT


As a requirement prior to renting indoor and/or outdoor space at Steelyard Sports during the Green Phase (“Green”) of Governor Wolf’s detailed plan for reopening Pennsylvania, I specifically acknowledge as a precondition to the rental that:

I will require every participant in my rental group to sign a Steelyard Sports Waiver(s) before being allowed to begin any rental session. I will provide Steelyard Sports with a roster of the participants in advance of each session, and every participant will be required to check-in per the new Steelyard Check-in procedures to insure that no participant is using Steelyard’s facilities without having signed a Steelyard waiver.

I have read, I understand and am complying with all relevant CDC Guidelines for COVID-19, including the CDC COVID-19 Considerations for Youth and Summer Camps dates May 19, 2020, and the Pa Department of Health’s Summer Recreation, Camps and Pools communication dated May 22nd, 2020.
I am aware of the capacity restrictions at Steelyard during the “Green” phase for each rental area, as summarized below:

Small outdoor field: 250 persons maximum
Training area (indoor):  40 persons maximum
Arena (indoor):  60 persons maximum
Training + Arena area together will not exceed 100 persons at any time.
Speed Training/Batting Cages:  30 people maximum

I acknowledge the need to socially distance the participants in my rental by having them maintain a distance of 3 feet apart, whenever possible, and agree to supervise my group to insure that equipment is not shared.

Steelyard Sports and its employees and representatives will observe the group’s activities, and reserves the right to intervene to help enforce these restrictions.  Steelyard also reserves the right to immediately cancel the group activity at any time due to non-compliance, with no compensation due to the group renting the facility.
Coaches, counsellors and trainers are required to wear masks during activities at Steelyard Sports.

I have shared with the families of the participants in this and future rentals that, in order to stay within capacity limitations, promote social distancing, and ease the burden of operating safely during “Green”, parents/guardians and siblings of participants are not allowed to observe my rental event. Spectators are preferred to not attend the event either inside or outside the facility, and must wear face coverings and maintain distances of 6 feet or greater from non-household members.  

These specific Acknowledgments do not specifically limit any obligations that I have under my rental contract with Steelyard.
