Zero-Waste QuakerFest Volunteers

As part of ReThink Your Footprint, QuakerFest is going zero-waste this year!

QuakerFest is a key event during Homecoming weekend at Penn.
November 9th - 9:30am-12pm (before the homecoming football game)

Close to 1,000 people register to attend QuakerFest during homecoming weekend. This event could be an amazing opportunity to show members of Penn community how committed the University is to environmental sustainability!

Some volunteers will help attendees with zero-waste decision-making when they finish eating at the QuakerFest picnic. Other volunteers will help explain what zero-waste events are and how this event ties in to Penn's Climate Action Plan goals to attendees.

We will be in touch within the coming weeks with more information about the event! All volunteers will receive a free Green Campus Partnership t-shirt plus breakfast and snacks during the event. If you have any suggestions for making zero-waste QuakerFest success, please let us know!
