College Ready Literacy by Battelle Education
Thank you for your interest in College Ready Literacy. Battelle Education's College Ready Literacy series is open to teams of teachers and administrators interested in embedding disciplinary literacy throughout their curriculum.  

Applications for the 2015/2016 series must be submitted online and are due by June 26, 2015.

Prior to applying, be sure to read through our eBook (www.osln.org/literacy) which outlines the program and covers important topics such as "who should attend?" and "what do participants need to know ahead of time?"  

Please be sure you are prepared to complete this entire application.  You will not be able to leave the application and come back to finish at a later time. A pdf of what is required for this application is available at www.osln.org.

The summer session dates are August 5-6, 2015 in Columbus, Ohio. Quarterly follow-up sessions will be scheduled in October 2015, March and June 2016 with locations to be determined.

The cost to participate is based on your team size. The costs for Ohio schools are outlined below.  Additionally, participants will be expected to cover the cost of travel to/from sessions.  

Notice of application status and job embedded dates will be delivered by July 8, 2015.

Registration options and costs
The registration costs are based on number of participants as outlined below:

SMALL Team*   $1,700.00 per person
The cost for a small team of one (1) to five (5) participants is $1,700.00 per person and includes the 5 day training series as outlined in the eBook.

SMALL/MEDIUM Team*  $1,600.00 per person
The cost for a small/medium team of six (6) to ten (10) participants is $1,600.00 per person and includes the 5 day training series as outlined in the eBook.

MEDIUM/LARGE Team  $1,500.00 per person
The cost for a medium/large team of eleven (11) to fifteen (15) participants is $1,500.00 per person and includes the 5 day training series as outlined in the eBook.

LARGE Team  $1,400.00 per person
The cost for a large team of sixteen (16) to twenty (20) participants is $1,400.00 per person and includes the 5 day training series as outlined in the eBook.

Upon receipt of your registration, Battelle Education will contact you with information on logistics and an invoice. Payment must be received within 30 days of receiving the invoice and should be made payable to "Battelle Education." Please include both your school/district name and "2015-2016 College Ready Math by Battelle Education" in the memo field of the check.  You may send checks to: Battelle Education, Attn: Kelly Gaier Evans, 505 King Avenue, Room A-2-003 Columbus, OH 43201.  

If your district requires a purchase order (PO) to make payment, please note the PO is accepted for funding administration only; terms and conditions included with the PO are not applicable to this order.  Please send POs by fax or email to Kelly Gaier Evans at gaierk@battelle.org or 614-458-5548.

*Provision of the training is dependent upon receipt of a minimum number of interested registrants.
