Qualifications for serving on a Chrysalis Team:

There are many areas in which one can serve in the Chrysalis community, such as serving in the kitchen during a weekend or helping with set-up or music during a gathering. Serving on a team is a priviledge and may not be for everyone. Team members are held to a higher standard, as a position on a team is equated with a leadership position in a church. If there is an area in your life that contradicts biblical principles or the theology that SEFL Chrysalis affirms, and you're not willing or ready to surrender that area to Christ, then this is not the time for you to serve on a team. If this is the season of life that you find yourself in, then under area of service on this form, please mark areas other than "serving on a team." Thank you for prayerfully considering how you can help. Potential team members must be:
  • Someone that attended a Chrysalis or similar Fourth Day Movement weekend (Cursillo, Via de Cristo, Tres Dias, Kairos, Emmaus, etc.) 
  • 15 years old or older. 
  • Active in a local church. 
  • Active in an Emmaus\Chrysalis community. 
  • Must be meeting regularly with an accountability group. (reunion group)
  • Those 18 years and older will be asked to submit a background check and must meet eligibility to work with youth.  

Expectations of team members:

  • Lead a Christian lifestyle. 
  • Have a servant attitude. 
  • Be willing to accept any position on the team.
  • Be willing to adhere to Board Policies and Guidelines. 
  • Attend team meetings. Team formation is primarily a spiritual formation process. Even though you may have experience with several teams, there will be new people on each team. It is important to attend all team meetings so that the entire team can form. 
  • Those chosen to serve on the "inside team" must attend entire weekend. 
  • Attend follow-up meeting 
  • If you are serving on a weekend in another movement or community, such as an Emmaus team, please check to make sure there are no conflicts in meetings or weekend date.
