Description:
The Healthy Havenscourt Collaborative (HHC) is a collaborative that brings together residents, community-based organizations, and public agencies working together to build a healthier neighborhood. We believe that intentional neighborhood change is rooted in the needs and wants of the community. Residents are integrated throughout the collaborative to uplift their lived experiences, hold the collaborative accountable, and promote leaders who spearhead efforts to make Havenscourt a healthier place for all. HHC CP Resident Leaders work in collaboration with organizational partners to provide strategic guidance and support to HHC.
HHC CP Resident Leader Opportunities:
Build relationships with community-based and public agencies that serve the Havenscourt neighborhood.
Influence the strategic decisions of the collaborative.
Paid $50/hour for Core Partner meeting and retreat participation. (Up to 20 hours/year).
Optional opportunity to participate in a quarterly, in-person resident group meeting to network, process core partner meeting content with peers, advise on resident engagement aspects of HHC programs and projects, and receive support from the backbone team.
Optional opportunity for 1-1 welcome buddy with an existing core partner.
HHC CP Resident Leader Requirements:
Must reside in Havenscourt and/or hold a deep connection to the neighborhood (Bounded by Seminary Ave, Bancroft Ave, Hegenberger/73rd Ave, & San Leandro St.)
Attend a minimum of 4 Core Partner Meetings (approximately 2 hours each = 8 hours total), total of 6 meetings/year.
Attend annual HHC retreat (approximately 5-10 hours).
Work with other HHC CP Resident Leaders and backbone staff to provide resident engagement and outreach recommendations.
Provide a W9 to receive a stipend payment at the end of the year.
