Hartford Greater Together Community Fund 2025 Grant Application Form 
The Hartford Greater Together Community Fund (HGTCF) is pleased to announce its 2025 grant cycle for non-profit organizations. Awarded funds range from $500 to $5,000 and all projects must primarily benefit the residents of Hartford. Eligible candidates can submit a completed application by 11:59 p.m. on Friday, September 12, 2025.

Eligibility

  • Organizations must be classified as a 501(c)(3) non-profit. 

  • Organizations may have a fiscal sponsor.

  • Projects must primarily serve Hartford residents.

  • NEW this year: organizations must have an annual operating budget of $1.5 million or less.

  • NEW this year: organizations that have received a grant from HGTCF for three years consecutively must take one year off from requesting funds.

Guidelines
● The minimum grant request is $500 and the maximum is $5,000. The average grant award is $2,500. 
● Funds must not be used for lobbying or any political activity.
● If you received a grant from HGTCF in 2024, you must submit your final report before you submit a 2025 application.

Deadlines
● Application is due Friday, September 12, 2025 at 11:59 pm.
● Grant period date is one year from the date of HGTCF’s award letter.

Application Process
● Complete the online application or email a completed PDF form to  hartfordac@hfpgcommunityfunds.org    . 
● Please answer all of the questions below and include all of the required attachments.
● During the review process, HGTCF may reach out for a follow-up if deemed necessary. 

Required Attachments
● A detailed budget of revenue and expenses for the project.
● IRS 501(c)(3) determination letter.
●The most recently completed organizational fiscal year's operating budget (e.g., Fiscal Year July-June, January-December, etc.)
● If the proposed project is not new, include attachment(s) related to the ongoing project. (e.g. flyer, brochure, program, marketing materials, etc.)

Optional Attachments
● Letters of support, up to 3 maximum.
● Other attachments (e.g., marketing materials, photographs, brochure etc).
