First Generation Celebration Gathering
Hello First-Generation* Community!

November 8th is National First-Generation Celebration Day! Come join IME and OEI for our annual First-Generation gathering! We will be serving appetizers, engage in an activity while having intentional conversations about our experiences as first-generation students, staff, faculty and alumni!

Date: Friday, November 8, 2024 
Time: 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm 
Location: Gregg Pavilion (CAS Campus)

Dressing up is encouraged but not required!  We will play First-Gen Jeopardy and have prizes and merch!

Please RSVP by November 5th, 2024 to help with food count! Dinner will be catered by Casa Colima. We will have tamalas, beans, rice, chips & salsa.

*Like any identity, identifying a clear definition is always challenging as each individual is complex and unique. Defining a First-Generation College Student is no different and can be complicated. IME welcomes any student who believes they would benefit from our First-Generation Programs to participate.
