We are excited to offer “Camp Kindergarten” for your student as a time of orientation for your child to enter school for the 2023/24 school year here at CC Bell Elementary School in August.

We have had one very important change to dates due to budgeting:  there now are three days (instead of four) for Camp Kindergarten - Tuesday, August 8th, Wednesday August 9th, & Thursday August 10th from 8AM-12PM for all 3 days.

The purpose of this Kindergarten Transition program is to provide an enjoyable and welcoming opportunity for incoming Kindergarten students and families to become familiar with school staff and the classroom environments while making new friends.

Curriculum: This week will be fun and engaging to create for students an atmosphere of excitement about starting school and learning.  We will be using our Positive Behavior Intervention and Support (PBIS) system to teach students the routines and expectations for school.

*Math awareness activities
*Fine motor skills
*Gross motor skills
*Read aloud
*Social emotional learning opportunities
*Outside time

Meals:  We will coordinate with Child Nutrition for breakfast and lunch meals.  Please list any allergies or dietary restrictions below.
