India's cities are racing toward a 2026 reality: private eVTOL operators are preparing to launch air taxi fleets in Bengaluru and beyond. But the regulatory, spatial, and societal groundwork to make Urban Air Mobility safe, equitable, and sustainable doesn't yet exist.

That's what the SANGAM Toolkit is built to fix.

Enabled by the Bengaluru Science & Technology (BeST) Cluster at IISc — an initiative of the Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser, Government of India — with the expertise of IISc Sustainable Transportation Lab, SANGAM is an open-access policy framework and decision-support toolkit for integrating air taxis into Indian cities: GIS-based vertiport siting, citizen acceptance and equity studies, grid-readiness analysis, and a national UAM Policy Manual — piloted in Bengaluru, built to replicate across other metros.

We're inviting funding partners to help build this blueprint before India's skies get crowded.
