The Florida Prison Education Project is an initiative of the University of Central Florida that seeks to offer a high-quality undergraduate education to people who are incarcerated in Central Florida. Volunteers typically DO NOT attend classes in the prisons, but instead help with outreach initiatives, research, and other office support work.
