Arts for Autism is looking to hire certified Spectrum Dance Therapist and assistants for the 2022 term. Classes will be held on Saturday mornings for 1-hour /2-Hours and the term will be for 10-weeks.

All applicants must be 17+

Lead Instructor requirements:
* Must be a certified SDT instructor.
* Must have experience working with the Autistic population.
* Previous dance instructor experience required.
* ABA experience preferred.
* Dance experience preferred.
* Must pass a level 2 background check.
- $50/class

Job Description:
* Develop a playlist.
* Choreograph routines incorporating therapeutic movements.
* Develop a class curriculum.
* Manage behaviors of all children throughout the class.
* Provide feedback of student progress to families.
* Develop Social Skills activities into curriculum.
* Maintaining high energy and teaching ability before, during and after class.

Assistant requirements:
* Must have experience working with the Autistic population.
* ABA experience preferred.
* Dance experience preferred.
* Must pass a level 2 background check.

* Facilitate therapeutic movements.
* Execute class curriculum.
* Manage behaviors of all children throughout the class.
* Provide feedback of student progress to families.
* Implement Social Skills activities during class.
* Maintaining high energy and teaching ability before, during and after class.

Teaching Artist:
* Must have experience working with the Autistic population.
* ABA experience preferred.
* Teaching experience preferred.
* Must pass a level 2 background check.

* Execute class curriculum.
* Manage behaviors of all children throughout the class.
* Provide feedback of student progress to families.
* Implement Social Skills activities during class.
* Maintaining high energy and teaching ability before, during and after class.

Teaching Artist position is for our Early Intervention Program
Monday-Friday 9am-12pm at Miami Lakes Youth Center
And our Adult Day Program Tuesday/Thursdays 9am-12pm
