Summer Youth Film Intensive 2026

Registrations will be processed in the order they are received.

This 3 week program will take participants through all of the steps in the process of creating an original short film– screen writing, camera operation, production planning and location shooting, acting for film, videography, and editing, and numerous other aspects of the film process. Students will write, produce, and star in multiple original short films for entry in a statewide youth film contest.

The program is a collaboration between the Teen Center, Fuller Lodge Art Center, & PAC 8. It is being made possible by a generous donations from Alex and Christina Simons.

The cost to put on the program is over $1500/student.

Suggested family contribution:  $350 - $700/student 

Scholarships are available, no student will be refused for financial reasons. In previous years, the class was an even mix of students paying full cost, students with partial scholarships, and students on full scholarships.

Please let us know on the registration form below if you need a scholarship for your student. No complicated paperwork for the scholarship, just let us know what your need is and it will be covered.

We understand that it is important for parents/guardians & students to clearly communicate ahead of time with the instructors about days they cannot attend so that production of the films are not disrupted. *
We understand that the class will include students viewing and being a part of creating content that would fall into the "PG-13" category. This may include themes about relationships, sexuality, gender identity, familial relationships, mental health challenges, substance use, and other possibly sensitive topics. *
