EMDR Refresher 

Saturday April 27th 2024

Polish Friendship ZGODA Society | Polish Community Centre -  4015 Fraser St, Vancouver, BC 

This one-day, in-person refresher course is for clinicians who have completed the EMDR Basic Training and want a review of  the foundations of this therapeutic approach. We will go over the various applications of this model, ranging from acute to developmental trauma as well as special situations and populations.

We'll go through a step-by-step review of the Eight Phase Protocol: how to do it, as well as address common stuck places and choice points. Issues we will focus on include: case conceptualization, working with complex ptsd, blocked processing, over and under responding clients. 

Included will also be a review of actual client sessions from the History-taking phase through the Re-evaluation phase to help hone your skills and build your confidence.

Instructors: EMDRIA Certified EMDR Therapists and Approved Consultants, Dr. Alivia Maric, PhD, RPsych and Eve Wilensky, MA, RCC

Refreshments provided, lunch will be on your own. Many restaurants close by!
