Shining Stars Performing Arts Workshop Summer Registration 2026 (Ages 21 & over)
DATES: Monday, August 17th - Friday, August 28th (Monday - Friday)

TIMES: 9:00am - 11:00am (vocal class)
            11:00am - 1:00pm  (dance class)
            1:00pm -  3:00pm  (theatre class)

  * Showcase: Thursday Evening, August 27th (Time/Venue TBD)
  * Friday August 28th, will be the cast party which will run from 9:00am - 12:30pm.* 

Workshop Location: Fanwood Presbyterian Church, 75 S. Martine Ave., Fanwood, N.J.

Cost: Approx $530 per class ($1600 total)
 
This workshop is open to everyone including individuals with special needs. If you are registered with DDD, the course can be funded through your Goods and Services budget. Once registered, an invoice will be sent to you which can then be forwarded to your support coordinator. Registration is not finalized until there is an approved SDR form from DDD. 

Please note: The full amount will be billed no matter how many days the participant attends.

All other performers wishing to sign-up can register now and pay in full either by check or Venmo.

If paying by cash, check, or Venmo, the total is $1600.

A non-refundable pre-registration fee of $30 is required to hold your spot. An invoice will be sent upon completion of registration. No spot will be held unless the registration fee is received. 

All cash, check, and registration payments can be made out to: Shining Stars Network and mailed to 134 Devon Road, Colonia, NJ 07067 or paid by venmo (@ShiningStarsNetwork).

Participants must register for all three classes to participate in the Showcase.

Please note: We must have a minimum of number of participants for the performing arts workshops to take place. You will be notified before July 1, 2026 if we do not have enough participants. If so, all registration money will be completely refunded.

The Shining Stars Performing Arts Workshop will take place at Fanwood Presbyterian Church located at 74 S Martine Ave, Fanwood, NJ 07023. The showcase time/location is TBD.

If this is your first time applying to the Shining Stars Summer Workshop, an interview will be required before acceptance.

If it is determined that a 1:1 aide is needed for the camper prior to or during camp, the Directors will let you know. Additional fees apply. Parents are not allowed to be 1:1 aides. If the Directors determine that a 1:1 aide is needed after camp begins. You will be responsible for the additional hourly fee and must agree if you want to the participant to continue for the duration of the program. We do our best to accommodate everyone!

Once the registration is completed and submitted an invoice will be sent to you. If you are paying by cash or check, please mail or drop off to the following address: 134 Devon Road, Colonia, NJ 07067. Payment is due no later than May 1, 2026. If paying using DDD Goods and Services, the Service Detail Report (SDR) from your support coordinator is due by May 1st. If payment or the SDR is not received by May 1, 2026 you will be put on a waiting list. Request for payment forms must be approved by the time the program is completed (August 28, 2026) and must be approved whether the program is completed or not.
