The Researcher will be responsible for creating an in-depth, culturally appropriate, presentation about the region the proposed refugee individual or family is from. This includes culturally appropriate holidays, foods, customs, and history. One expectation upon arrival is providing a culturally appropriate hot meal for the family, as well as culturally appropriate grocery items that might be commonly found. This individual responsibility includes, researching the appropriate background information, relaying this information to the group prior to arrival, and arranging a list of food items and other culturally appropriate items in need of purchasing.
