Thank you for expressing an interest in contributing to Diverse Educators: A Manifesto, which will be published in January 2022, by the University of Buckingham Press (UBP).
Bennie Kara and Hannah Wilson, as Co-Founders of #DiverseEd, will co-edit the book and write the introduction.
Our goal is to have a copy of the book in every school library and in every university library in the UK.
We are seeking from the Diverse Educators' community:
* 10 chapter editors: 1 for each of the 9 protected characteristics and 1 for a chapter on intersectionality.
* 100 contributors: 10 for each chapter focusing on 1 of the 9 protected characteristics and 10 for the chapter on intersectionality.
Everyone who contributes a submission that is published will receive a free copy of the book. They may also be invited to contribute to the book launch which is likely to be a series of events due to the scale of the contributions.
