This form is to be used for interviewing students as part of the enrolment process, to determine their suitability for the course and identify any support needs.
The interview may be conducted on-site at the RTO, or remotely via telephone or web-based platforms such as an online link.
Ask the student each question and record their responses. At the conclusion of the interview, and after reviewing the documentation submitted by the student as part of their enrolment, assess and document whether the student is suitable for entry into the course. Also, record any support needs and actions required.
The outcome of the course entry interview must be communicated to the student, in accordance with the process outlined in the Student Enrolment and Completion Policy and Procedures.
Note: For courses that include work placements, it is important to discuss the identity checks and immunisations that may be required by some workplaces. Confirm that the student understands these requirements and has no concerns.
