Introduction:

What history has collectively taught us, is that government’s only true purpose is to preserve the free will and freedom of all to the highest degree possible, a challenge more than worthy of its faculties.

Much like the relationship between a parent and a child, a parent cannot know what is best for a child, only give that child guidance, and give them the freedom, space, and respect to make their own decisions, to be in charge of their own triumphs and follies, to guide their own destiny, whether it be to boon or bust.

This is a crucial part of the learning process that our system has removed through knowledge obtained without wisdom to accompany it. This is why consensual governance is a necessity as paramount as democracy itself for the future of humanity.

While our systems may have worked in the past, it has become glaringly apparent that they cannot meet the needs of the modern man. While a revolutionary amendment to government may seem extreme, it is truly a practicality.

How can we expect a system that is over 200 years old to meet the lightning fast changing needs of the modern world? Taxes and a representative government (politicians) were once a pragmatic necessity in a time when it took months to send a letter.

Now, they have become nothing short of a crude liability, as politicians continue to prove they do not have the nobility necessary for such a high office.

Government has also proven they cannot be trusted with managing the finances of the people in a responsible and transparent manner.

We have also found that our current system creates marginalized groups that are victimized by the majority, steam rolled and pressured into policies they don't believe in. This has proved to be a strong source of social turbulence due to its imbalanced and unjust nature.

Ultimately, our current system is simply unsustainable, as the resulting dissidence of its inherent flaws have culminated into governments all over the world being on the brink of critical failure for decades.

 At UPE, I believe we have found an elegant solution to these issues that have plagued mankind for much of their recorded history.

This is a proposal for a revolutionary, unprecedented system of self governance, a staple pillar of modern politics. Apps we don't use get updated on our phone weekly, yet our government has not for hundreds of years.

 Just as we no longer use flintlock muskets, we can no longer expect a representative democracy to meet the needs of this new world, which is vastly different than the womb in which our current system gestated in.

We need something better suited for the times. As such, I have created a framework for a direct, diversified, decentralized democracy and finance system based on block-chain technology.

I believe this is essentially, self governance in a higher form, and will become a cornerstone and necessity of the sociopolitical sphere in the near future. This decentralization helps to prevent autocracy in finance and politics.

While direct democracies have caused issues in the past, such as majority tyranny, the most revolutionary aspect of this new system is the "diversified" democracy.

Essentially, what this means is that each individual person, upon reaching voting age (18 as an example, but can be determined individually by the parent of citizen) will be given an encrypted, block-chain based voter ID, much like the ones that exist today.

 Then they will be given a voter profile, and may vote on proposed bills individually, deciding for themselves which policies they want to live under, fund, and which they do not.

This revolutionary system allows for each person to customize the governance and aspects of society they want to participate in, and no longer have to be pressured into ones they do not.

This way people can fund the things they want to benefit from, and abstain from things they don't want to be a part of.

This will solve much of the current turbulence in politics today. This is a unique proprietary system that has NEVER existed before today.

This proposed upgrade will use crowd-sourcing for policies and funding to eliminate the need entirely for any form of taxes or politicians, to give people absolute and direct control of what public policies and currencies they are subject to.

Each proposed policy and currency will be on a public block-chain system. The point is to create an atmosphere of complete transparency, making deception in political and financial affairs all but impossible.

How it Works:

Once this system is adopted in the US on a public, decentralized block-chain platform specifically created for this purpose, any citizen of voting age may propose a bill, including its budget, bill term limits, how the bill will be enforced, and all other relevant details thoroughly.

This platform will also serve as a decentralized social media for discussion of socio-political issues, policies, news, etc.

When a bill is proposed, a vote will take place on this platform owned and managed by the people. During this voting phase, each individual voter decides Yes or No whether they want to be subjected to the policy proposed.

 Those who vote yes will be affected by the policy and must participate in any subsequent funding and whatever other rules apply, but also get whatever benefits are included.

Those who vote no, do not have to fund the proposal, and are not subject to its rules, but also do not get to enjoy the benefits of the policy. What this creates is an individual custom policy profile for each individual citizen, regardless of their location.

This allows for two citizens in the same place to be law-abiding even if they are engaging in different activities, depending on their unique policy profile that they will have access to at any time to review the policies they are currently engaged with, expiration dates on those policies, etc.

An individual may also change their vote at any time, and/or pass a proposal/bill that cancels out or alters the previous one.

 For example, say they are under a current policy that states they pay $50 a month to a police force to protect their family/neighborhood, but they have noticed the police force is using their funds unscrupulously.

The individual can remove themselves from the policy and the payment, as well as the subsequent protection of that police force, likely seeking out another one, or a reform within the current one.

This is a pivotal feature because each individual can decide at any moment if a policy they are under is still benefiting them, and works as a check and balance system.

 This will also foster a competitive policy environment where only the most sophisticated and streamlined policies survive.

Note that there will be a buffering period of 1 year for changing a policy vote. This is in place to prevent people from changing their vote simply to avoid repercussions to policies they previously agreed to, as well as to provide some social stability for publicly funded institutions/entities. This means that you must be discerning with policies you agree to, as they cannot be altered for at minimum, 1 calendar year, unless the bill specifies otherwise.

If someone feels that a law they are subjected to is unjust, it is the imperative of government to ensure that it is altered or ended.

The political sphere is simply an extension of the living, growing, ever-changing populous; as such, the system that governs this sphere must be capable of the same level of flexibility/adaptation if it hopes to survive.

 If a law can be improved, then it must be as expediently as possible.

This system entirely removes the need for politicians and bankers, as they have demonstrated without deviation that they cannot be trusted with these high and noble purposes.

All of these bills and all information within this system will be encrypted on block-chain technology, giving it quantum level security against fraud and data breach, bolstering societal security, and making voter fraud more difficult.

 A consensus Proof of Stake algorithm will be used, meaning for there to be a single case of voter fraud, it must fool 51% of the system, a tall order.

The block-chain ledger will also make it very easy to see where funding has been, currently resides, and is going.

This will make financial fraud/theft etc., whether through legal institutions or criminal syndicates/individuals nearly impossible, as every transaction can be traced throughout the system.

Each person will also have an individual id and password that should be well-guarded. This also creates transparency between government bodies and citizens, fostering a climate of trust and unity, as government and people are meant to act as one, not opposing forces.

Again, those who don't participate in a vote, as this will likely happen often, essentially are voting no on a policy. This is purposeful, as it creates a self-limiting system, so only legislation of the highest importance will have substantial influence.

 This system is balanced because even marginalized small groups can still have their own micro policies without stepping on the toes of others that do not want to participate.

History has shown us when it comes to legislation, less is more, so only in the most dire need would bills pass at the level of national and international influence, as it should be. This system will put all of the power where it must reside, in the people.

An Example:

For those who still do not quite understand how it works. Here is an example. Say someone puts up a bill proposal that protects people from being robbed.

The policy would include the definition of robbery, as well as the subsequent punishment, how this punishment would be enforced, how long the policy would be enacted for, and the funding needed to enforce the policy.

Those who voted yes to this policy, would be protected by it, meaning if they were robbed by anyone, the robber would be subject to the punishment proposed in the policy.

Those who voted no, would not benefit from the policy, so they would be vulnerable to robbery, but would not have to pay the subsequent costs associated with this benefit.

In this example the policy functions like an insurance for those who participate. Those who do not wish to participate, which is not likely but certainly possible, do not have to, they simply will not get the associated benefits.

As a thought experiment and example, this means that if a person who voted no on this policy robbed someone who also voted no, there could be no legal intervention based upon this legislative policy.

If someone who voted no robbed someone who voted yes however, they would still be subjected to the punishment. Note that many will most likely also adopt common law practices, such as needing intent for criminal prosecution. This means that people have to be aware that there is a law, and that they are breaking it in order to be prosecuted. This will be important, as there will likely be a lot of minor legislation among small groups.

Furthermore, someone who voted yes on this policy could not legally rob someone who voted no, as they agreed that this activity is illegal, and are subjected to the law of the policy they agreed to.

This allows each citizen to live under customized, individual societal rules. This creates an unprecedentedly pure form of self governance, a diversified democracy.

Note that on occasion there must be an either/or vote (such as what to do with public property, i.e. moving a public statue), in which case, then a formula will be used involving a point system based on votes, divided by distance from the event/issue. This ensures that those whom the policy affects most, will have the most influence over what happens.

There will also likely be times where there are contradictory policies, or other nuanced complications that often occur in law. This is why it is suggested people assemble law arbitration groups similar to the Supreme Court, or crowd source law decisions within their groups who hold the same/similar policies to make these final decisions.

People may also elect to give over the handling of socio-political and legislative policies affecting them to a representative, essentially hiring a politician through a bill/agreement, who will manage their profile and political life for them. The entire point of this system is so that people are empowered to choose everything, to have more direct control over governing policies. They can alter, throw out, and improve policies in their life as they see fit. This allows people to adapt more efficiently, as well as be solely responsible for how governance affects their lives.

How to Make it Happen:

In the past, we have failed to topple tyrannical systems for one simple reason, we were incapable of organizing and unifying with the same level of efficiency and efficacy as the evils operating here.

Now though, we have all of the tools, the opportunity, wisdom, knowledge, technology,  inner strength and conviction to stand together against these powers as the sovereign citizens of Earth that we are.

To get this movement going, the first thing we need is funding. Unlike other political campaigns however, UPE is not just planning to take from our constituents like so many political campaigns before us.

 That is why we have come up with a unique fundraising tool, again brought to you by the amazing world of cryptocurrency!

We are in the process of creating a BEP-20 cryptocurrency token (UPE) on the Binance Smart Chain as not only a means of raising funds for this campaign, but a unique investment opportunity.

I will tell you now there are those out there who want you to be nothing more than a clone, a cog in a machine of their creation, their device, and their gain.

They have gotten the collective silent consent of the people with the current systems in place, and we have seen the result of it.

To that I say, we the people, the producers and creators of all things, those who feel we cannot possibly stand up to these systems, I remind them that we were the ones who created them.

We built every business with our patronage and labor, every government with our participation, tax dollar, and silent consent, and we too can dismantle them.

We can rebuild them to be the upholders of divine truth, justice, and balance that they were meant to be. This is not only our inherent right built into the foundation of government, but our duty as patriots of our countries and shepherds of this good Earth.

If we cannot unite for the sake of ourselves, then how can we hope to survive when even the most spiteful and hateful collaborate in order to consolidate power?
