2014 Hunger Week Team Application

Our Mission:
Community Service and Action (CSA) seeks to serve the diverse Loyola and local communities by fostering mutually beneficial partnerships designed to support neighbors in need. We aim to build the greater good by using our gifts and talents to create the change we seek.

Hunger Week:
Hunger Week has been a tradition at Loyola for 40 years. Each year, dedicated students commit to working as a team to create a week of activities that increase awareness of hunger issues and that raise funds to combat them. The program remains one of the most recognizable projects on campus year after year!

Leadership Expectations:
1) Attendance at all Hunger Week Team meetings (roughly every two weeks in spring, every week in fall).
2) Attendance at all Hunger Week events as class schedule allows.
3) Completion of all assigned tasks.
4) Commitment to promote Hunger Week on a personal level.
5) Attendance at Student Leader Training Day on April 6.

Expected Weekly Time Commitment:
Spring: up to 2 hours
Summer: up to 1 hour
Fall: 3-5 hours
