Nevern Square Conservation Area Residents' Association: Travel Survey 2021/2
The NSCARA area is lodged between three of the busiest and most polluted roads
in Kensington and Chelsea and, as a committee, we felt that this was a unique
opportunity to ask residents what they felt, and importantly, what they thought
would improve our area in the long-term.

We hope that you will take the time to fill this in and help make where we live a
better place to live.

As we move from lockdown towards the new “Normal”, we have an opportunity
to build on the communities that became stronger over the pandemic, and
rebuild neighbourhoods that are greener, healthier, and happier places to live
The pandemic has made us change the ways that we shop, socialise, work
and travel.

The aim of the questionnaire is to provide evidence to support a re-design of
our streets and where we live, with greater emphasis to creating spaces that
are safe to walk and cycle.

The results of this questionnaire will be used to encourage RBKC and TfL to
take steps to encourage active travel in Earl’s Court.

The reasons behind people's change in behaviour is based on major changes
due to COVID-19 and the government measures in response to the pandemic,
affecting the way we socialise, travel and work.

I hope that you will be able to take the time to take part in this important survey.
