The Peace Warrior (TPW) Foundation is a US and India based not-for-profit/NGO that is working on a documentary film – DO NO HARM INDIA (DNHI) directed by two-time Emmy winner Robyn Symon who recently produced the groundbreaking film DO NO HARM in the United States.

DNHI aims to celebrate Indian physicians while investigating India’s healthcare systemic bringing all the stake holders together, patients, physicians and policy makers with the goal of promoting greater understanding and solutions.  The film will focus on the rising concerns of safety and well-being among physicians who are dying by suicide at a rate twice that of the general population and are increasingly becoming the target of violence exacerbated by the COVID pandemic.

Long held cultural traditions, family pressure and the idea that physicians are superhuman and are not supposed to ask for help, prevent them from seeking mental health care. Forced to hide depression and burnout often leads to high rates of drug addiction and suicide.

A documentary film is a powerful tool to open a dialogue and search for solutions.

We are asking for your help in spreading the word and supporting this critical film. 100% of contributions will be directed in the making of DNHI. Please use hashtag #donoharmIndia.
