It includes all of the information you need to know about having your child participate in The Philadelphia Dance Academy's 2019 Annual Spring Showcase.

Annual Spring Showcase dances are learned during a portion of class time. No additional rehearsals are required other than the Mandatory Dress Rehearsal on May 19 at the Old City studios:

An overall attendance rate of 80% is required for participation in the Spring Showcase. Consistent attendance is essential so students feel prepared and confident on stage. *

Yes, I understand that if my child misses 20% of their classes in the spring semester, it may prevent my child from participating in the Annual Spring Showcase.

For students in Level 3 and higher, an attendance rate of 80% is required on the day that students learn their dance. Consistent attendance is essential for the success of the group. Follow the link below to verify the day your child learns their Choreography.

Do you understand that the Participation Fee of $100 is automatically charged to the primary credit card on file on November 15? This fee includes one costume and a digital download of all three performances. If the payment is not received, a costume cannot be ordered. *Once a costume has been ordered, this fee is non-refundable. *

Do you understand that there is a mandatory tech/dress rehearsal on Friday, May 29 from 4:15-6:30p at the theater for all Contemporary and Theater Dance classes? Please note: if you dancer is only enrolled in a Ballet class, they will not attend this rehearsal.

We are excited to announce that this year's Spring Showcase will feature excerpts from Sleeping Beauty performed by our Ballet classes, and excerpts from Grease by our Theater Dance classes. Stay tuned for the announcement of the Contemporary dance theme.
