As part of Winter, Southbank Centre are programming a full weekend of charity focused activities, encouraging our audiences to give something back this Winter.  We've created  Charity Shop Design Challenge as part of that weekend where members of the public can create a new look and enter it into our Charity Shop Fashion Show and we want you to take part!

The Charity Shop Design Challenge is to create an outfit from charity shop clothes or materials with a budget of just £20.  You can select any items or materials you want as long as they are purchased in a charity shop (we will allow the use of some second hand items too) and you can add extra embellishment/ up cycling as you desire.  The challenge is to create a knock out look with the theme of "Choose a Charity Shop" to encourage people to think about shopping in charity shops more often to create great looks.

After registering your details you will be invited to an hour long workshop session in November with Channel 4's Fabulous Fashionista Bridget Sojourner who will be giving tips on her Charity Shop inspired style, and will be one of the judges on the day of the show.

Please enter your details below to register for the challenge.  After registration has closed you will be sent details of how to submit your final entry into the show.   Please note some important details below:
-If you are selected for the challenge your £20 will be reimbursed upon presentation of valid receipts. We will not reimburse any items purchased that fall outside £20.
-You will need to provide your own model, make-up and hair styling for the fashion show event
-The Fashion Show will take place as part of Winter at Southbank Centre on Saturday 12 December at 3pm.
-Shoes do not have to come from a charity shop or be part of the budget but we will not reimburse for any shoes purchased if they are not within the £20.
-Registration closes on Sunday 15th November at 12.00pm.

Awards will be given out at the show for the best looks.  Good Luck!
