    Section III: Focus Area

Starting in Fall 2014, each SA will be offering programming related to a special focus area. Each SA will still be expected to offer three programs per semester for their floor(s), which can be social, community building, or educational. However, the fourth program per semester will be related to their focus area, and will be open to their entire cluster as part of a series of educational programs. The focus areas may include: sustainability, wellness, active bystanderism, academic success, social justice, and first-year experience.

    Section IV: Housing Preferences

Due to the need to hire staff specifically toward focus areas, and the need for them to be evenly spaced throughout clusters, we will now be placing Student Staff into roles instead of holding Student Staff Room Draw. These placement decisions will be heavily influenced by candidate preferences that they will express during both their application and interview. This will also create more diverse cluster teams. Please rank the following clusters in order of preference (1 = high preference; 6 = low preference). Note that you may provide the same ranking for multiple clusters.
